Return to Normal Clerk Counter Hours Effective September 30, 2024

Last year, the Tuolumne County Superior Court (Court) on a temporary basis closed its clerks counter an hour earlier than our normal counter hours.  On October 2, 2023, the Court reduced clerks’ counter hours by one hour a day to help provide additional time for training and processing legal documents.  Our normal clerk counter hours were 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  The clerk counter hours were reduced by one hour to 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. 

Effective Monday, September 30, 2024, the Court will return to normal clerk counter hours of 8 AM to 3 PM.  The Court is still experiencing extraordinary turnover of clerks with significant need for training.  There are still delays in legal processing that the Court is working to resolve.  However, returning to normal clerk counter hours is an important step to improving court customers access to filing services.
