The court provides public access computers at the Self Help Center on the first floor of the Courthouse. Instructions are provided at each workstation for your assistance.

Public Wireless Access

Court Provides Complimentary Public Wireless Internet Access

The court provides a free Wi-Fi for the benefit of the public, jurors, court employees, and justice partners (during normal business hours), for their personal devices. This access point will allow users to access the internet from their devices when sitting within range of the Wi-Fi.

Request for Password to Acquire Access

The password for the Wi-Fi will be posted in the courthouse.

Acceptable Use Policy

As a state agency, the court has a management responsibility to establish an appropriate policy to administer use of the Internet and online services supported by this agency. It is within this context that the court offers access to the Internet via the wireless network.

All users are expected to use the wireless access in a legal and responsible manner.

While using this wireless access, users should not violate federal, State of California, or local laws, including those relating to:

Downloading copyrighted material:

U.S. copyright law prohibits the unauthorized reproduction or distribution of copyrighted materials, except as permitted by the principles of "fair use." No user may copy or distribute electronic materials without the explicit permission of the copyright holder.

The transmission or receiving of any pornography or harmful material:

Accessing or displaying obscene language or sexually explicit graphics or materials is prohibited.

Fraud:

Accessing or displaying obscene language or sexually explicit graphics or materials is prohibited.

By using this wireless access network, the user acknowledges that he/she is subject to, and agrees to abide by, all laws, and all rules and regulations of the State of California and the federal government, that are applicable to internet use.

Court staff will not provide technical assistance; staff will not assist in making changes to the user's network settings, or perform any troubleshooting on the user's own computer.
