Court will be open for business on January 9th, 2025

In response to January 9th being designated a federal holiday for the national day of mourning for former president James Carter, Tuolumne County has declared January 9th a county holiday.  However, January 9th is not a court holiday unless Governor Newsom designates January 9th as a state holiday.  To date, Governor Newsom has not designated January 9th as a holiday.  The Court will operate normally on January 9, 2025.  Accordingly, all persons expected to appear in court on January 9, 2025, should come to court.
