Tentative Rulings (California Rules of Court 3.1308)

Please note that tentative rulings are available for Department 3 for Unlimited Jurisdiction and Civil Law and Motion matters.  This does not include Civil Harassment Petitions, and does not include any Family Law matters.

Tentative rulings on motions for summary judgment, heard in Dept. 3 on Fridays, may or may not be available.  If a tentative ruling is available, it will be available by 3:00 p.m. the court day before the hearing.

Tentative rulings may be available for Department 4 Civil Law and Motion matters.

The tentative rulings are also available by telephone, at (209) 533-6633.  If you wish to appear for oral argument, you must so notify the court and opposing counsel by 4:00 p.m. one court day before the hearing, pursuant to CRC 3.1308.  The court telephone number for Department 3 is (209) 533-5974.   The court telephone number for Department 4 is (209) 533-6524.
